MP backs break campaign

Liberal Democrat MP Andrew George is backing a campaign to keep tax breaks for companies who produce biodiesel.
Producers converting cooking oil into biodiesel presently benefit from a 20p differential but that is because of end next April.
The St Ives MP, who leads the Lib Dem Environment Team, has been meeting the UK sustainable biodiesel alliance.
Mr George stated "a variety of small companies in Cornwall presently earn money from utilized cooking oil".
He added: "In order to be able to get this type of industry going it does require just a bit of lift which can be found in the form of tax inevitable."
Biodiesel is a mix of standard diesel, rapeseed and veggie oils.
